October is all about coding here at the CLCs! We will be running a series of FREE online youth workshops focused around coding.
What are we running?
AFTER SCHOOLS CODING CLUB For 7-9 year olds
3 Tuesday afternoons from 4-5pm
Running 13th, 20th, & 27th October
AFTER SCHOOLS CODING CLUB For 10-12 year olds
3 Wednesday afternoons from 4-5pm
Running 14th, 21st, & 28th October
Microbit workshop For 13-15 year olds
One off evening session from 7-9pm
What do you need?
These workshops are completely free. You do not need any previous knowledge of coding, just a passion for trying something new. We will be focusing on the creative side of coding, so our workshops will be light and fun, with very clear instructions provided.
For the workshops themselves, all you need is:
– a device with the Zoom app installed (no Zoom account /login needed)
– a tablet/laptop with internet access
Participants must be a resident of Northern Ireland. A parent/guardian/care provider must register their child/children and be present during the workshop.
How do I apply?
If you would like to attend one of these workshops you must fill out the application form below. This does not confirm your place. Applications close on Friday 2nd October.
We will inform successful applicants by Monday 12th October via text or email so please keep an eye out.
