Young Imaginators: Creative Workshops

Calling all young visionaries!

If you’re aged between 10 and 13 years old and have what it takes to shape the look and feel of our city’s spaces, then sign up to one of our interactive creative workshops to be held on Saturday 29th June 2019 at Belfast City Council’s pop up engagement hub, 71 Royal Avenue.

To help fit as many “Young Imaginators” as we can, we are running two workshops on Saturday. The first workshop will be from 10am to 12.30pm, the other from 1.30pm to 4pm. Both are limited to 20 spaces, so be quick! (Of course, as a visionary you will have already anticipated this).

The young people will have the opportunity to create a digital design, a creature/animal using their imagination, which will be transformed into physical artwork and vinyl stickers using the magic of digital fabrication.

Both workshops will be fully supervised, so parents of children with tickets are free to clear off and do some shopping. Or they can stay. Whatever works best. We would encourage you to stay for a least a part of the day to watch and encourage your child’s creativity. If you have younger children don’t worry, we’ve plenty of colouring to keep them entertained!

Note: there may be a press presence, so consent forms will need to be signed.

Oh, yes – and tickets are FREE.

So to secure your place on this amazing, creative, spectacular, fun workshop just click on the link below and Eventbrite will walk you through the process.

We will require a medical form and AV release from each participant who attends the workshop. Please download the forms below, print and fill them in. Bring these with you on the day.
