Calling young filmmakers and actors!

Are you aged 14-18? Ever seen a movie trailer and thought you could do better? Well, now’s your chance to prove it!

Whether your interest is in front of or behind the camera, over two days you will hone your skills by recreating, from scratch and without a budget, a homemade version of a Hollywood movie trailer.

This workshop is inspired by the movie “Be Kind Rewind” where they “swede” movies, recreate them out of homemade props and low budget camera skills.  We would highly recommend you watch this movie before the workshop, or go onto YouTube and search for “sweded movies” for some inspiration!

Ability to work with cardboard preferable but not essential. This is a purely creative workshop where you will learn guerilla-style filming, lighting and sound techniques to make you the ultimate sweded director!
