The Nerve Centre is seeking to recruit a number of posts in our Belfast and Derry~Londonderry Centres.
Centre Manager – Based at Nerve Belfast
Salary Scale: £28,000 – £30,000 pa
We are seeking an experienced educator or cultural manager to take responsibility for the management and operation of Nerve Belfast Creative Learning Centre and the delivery of its various programmes. You will coordinate and manage the delivery of Nerve Belfast’s range of programmes in education, learning and creativity for schools, communities, youth organisations, teachers and youth leaders; develop and manage partnerships and communications with key sectoral organisations, schools, community and youth groups; coordinate, develop and manage a dynamic 10 person team at Nerve Belfast to deliver effectively across all programme areas.
The successful candidate will have a degree level qualification in a relevant area and at least two years relevant managerial experience in the Education, Community, Arts or Youth Sectors.
Digital Support Officer – Based at Nerve Belfast
Salary Scale: £18,000 – £20,000 pa
The Digital Support Officer will be responsible for the maintenance and management of all Nerve Belfast AV, computer equipment and 3D fabrication hardware providing technical and delivery support, for all in-centre and outreach programmes and maintenance and management of all Nerve Belfast computer equipment.
The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications or experience and knowledge of managing technical equipment and software in an educational, arts or youth environment.
Partnership Coordinator – Based at Nerve Centre
Salary Scale: £23,000 – £25,000 pa
Working within the Nerve Centre’s Creative Learning Centre the Partnership Coordinator is responsible for the development, on-going coordination and evaluation of Nerve Centre’s Partnership Schools Programme, which provides structured support for schools to develop their capacity for the creative use of technology throughout the curriculum.
In a varied and interesting role you will also develop, coordinate and deliver learning programmes and resources and work closely with a wide range of stakeholders and partners.
The successful candidate will have a degree level qualification in a relevant area and at least two years experience working in the Education, Community, Arts or Youth Sectors.
Creative Media Trainer – Based at Nerve Centre
Salary Scale: £19,000 – £21,000 pa
Working within the Nerve Centre’s Creative Learning Centre the Creative Media Trainer will plan and deliver a range of educational programmes using digital media in a creative and innovative way for schools, youth organisations, teachers and youth leaders.
The successful candidate will have a degree level qualification in a relevant area and at least one years experience working in the Education, Community, Arts or Youth Sectors.
